Alan received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2017 and joined the Mezic research group in the winter of 2020. Alan is currently developing data-driven methods using Koopman operator theory and neural networks to analyze and control nonlinear dynamical systems.
