Ervin Kamenar

Ervin Kamenar is a researcher in mechatronics, soft robotics, precision engineering and energy harvesting. He received his B. Sc. and M. Sc. In Electrical Engineering and Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Engineering. He holds the position of assistant professor at the Faculty of Engineering where he teaches Mechatronics systems control, Mechatronics systems components, Fundamentals of mechatronics and Advanced control methods in precision engineering. He is Head of the Laboratory for Precision Engineering and Micro- and Nanosystems Technologies at the Centre for Micro- and Nanosciences and Technologies. He joined the Mezić research group in March 2021 as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar. He works on a pneumatic soft robot arm project and Koopman operator theory. Ervin is married and a father of two.
