Hassan joined our group in summer of 2013. Since then, he has worked on several problems at the intersection of dynamical systems theory, fluid mechanics and data analysis. Some of the projects he was involved in are 

• Data-driven prediction of oil slick and debris movement on the ocean surface,
• Numerical approximation of the Koopman operator and its spectral properties,
• Study of finite-time mixing in bounded incompressible flows.
